November Friends of WMS Forum Blog Waltz - Christmas!

Today I'm participating in the Friends of Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz that is run out of the Playroom in the Waltzingmouse Forum.  Why don't you check it out and join us each month on the 17th day!?  It just takes a few minutes to sign up to be a member of the forum.

The theme for November is 'Christmas'! And I have two cards to share with you today.

My first card was totally inspired by Kelly's trifold WMS sketch challenge card seen here.  I just loved her wonderful layered paper pieced stockings from Sewing Box Christmas.  I used just one stocking on my card, used a sentiment from Twas the Night Before Christmas  and drew a frame around it with my black 01 fine Micron pen.  My card is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"
This card also doubles as my November WMS Forum Christmas Card Challenge card -  and per the challenge requirements this month - I made 3 of them!
How cute and fun are these?!?!!

and here's my 2nd Christmas card.

I made this sweet cardinal using circle and scalloped circle punches.  I first saw it here on SCS.  I used another sentiment from Twas the Night Before Christmas on this card.  The trees are a Sizzix die.  I stamped the snowflakes from Sewing Box Christmas  with Versamark Ink and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds over them.

Now I'm off to check out all of the Christmas inspiration linked in the forum!  Are you coming?!

Stocking Cards:
Stamps:  Waltzingmouse - stocking from Sewing Box Christmas, Sentiment from Twas the Night Before Christmas
Paper:  White, TextStyle Bitty Dot Basics - PTI
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories:  bakers twine - The Twinery, foam tape, glue pen, 01 black fine time micron pen.

Cardinal Card:
