May Friends of Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz - Make it Masculine!

Today I'm participating in the Friends of Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz taking place in the Playroom of the WMS forum. You can check out all the details there. This month's theme is Masculine!

I never used these fun desert background stamps when this set was released so I decided today was a good day to get them out and ink them up!   I had this idea in my head of doing a muted background and spotlighting a section in colors -  so here it is!  Both the background panel and the colored panel are popped up on foam tape.   The stamps are from Way Out West and Back In the Saddle -  two super fun sets for the cowboys (and girls!) in your life.  Click on the card to see it larger.

There's a contest going on in the May Blog Waltz Chat thread in the Playroom over at the WMS Forum - so be sure to check out how you can win!

Stamps:  Waltzingmouse - Way Out West, Back in the Saddle.
Paper:  Rustic White - PTI
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Ranger Distress - Pumice Stone, Old Paper, More  Mustard, Stormy Sky, Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmelade, Scattered Straw
Accessories:  Rectangle nestability, foam tape.

Julia,
I came to see your Waltzingmouse card and got caught off guard by the "dandelion" card. I will have to take back every time I called them "weeds" Your card is BEAUTIFUL. You gave them an almost magical quality.
Then I saw your Western masculine card and was struck by that as well. I like how you focused in on the horse and rider with the brilliant colors. Really fabulous!!!
