Is It Tea Time or Halloween??!

Hello Stamping Friends! I have two cards to share with you today - both from the weekend challenges over at Split Coast Stampers.
First up - for the Inspiration Challenge - Guest Hostess Anne had a great web store - Elizabeth Embellishments - to inspire us this week (thanks Anne!) I was inspired by this pretty Bird Table ClockI've been wanting to use this fun cuckoo clock from Rubbernecker Stamps and thought here was the perfect opportunity! I added a Spellbinders bird (used the smallest bird as the wing!) and a sentiment from the Rubbernecker Tea Time Set #457. My card is 6"x6"
Stamps: Rubbernecker - Spring Time Pals Cuckoo clock # 304-13, Sentiment - Tea time set #457
Paper: rustic white - unknown, dark chocolate, Library ledger, green boutique - PTI, baja breeze - SU
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Ranger Distress Tea Dye
Accessories: small oval punch - SU, spellbinders bird, brad - Basic Grey, foam dimensionals, sponge and applicator - Inkssentials Ranger

My second card was made CASEing a card by Stampingout (Emily) who was the featured stamper. I have been in her gallery a lot as she participates in many of the same weekly challenges that I do.
I chose this Flower Die Cut card to CASE. I recently unearthed this fun Cosmo Cricket Halloween rub ons set in my craft room - I purchased it last year but 'lost' it in my stack of DP's I guess!!! (Have you ever done that?!) I thought it would work well in my case of Emily's card.
I changed the topic from flowers to Halloween and added a piece to the top right corner. I sponged around all the edges with my trusty Ranger Tea Dye Distress ink (how did I ever live without that?!? LOL!!)
Today is my birthday (!) so Kent and I are off to Gloucester, MA to check out the Cape Ann Museum there and maybe to hike through Dogtown.
Stamps: none
Paper: Kraft - PTI
Ink: Ranger Distress Tea Dye
Accessories: Cosmo Cricket Rub On's - Haunted, sponge & applicator Inkssentials Ranger, paper piercer

Your cards are darling - the bird and clock are very good - the Halloween card is fun (only a little scary)! Nice!

Hugs!

This is such a great card -- clean, crisp and fresh. And yes, I always lose stuff in my mountain of supplies, but it is an unexpected pleasure when i finally rediscover my lost and forgotten "treasures"!

Happy Birthday Julia! Hope you had a lovely day yesterday.

Love your cards. The Halloween one is so cute! And you were SO inventive creating the bird's wing from the smaller die. Very clever!
