Heavy Metal and Take a Hike!

My first offering to you today is a card for the Limited Supplies Challenge over at Split Coast - Joy in a Jar's instructions were to get back to basics - to only use shiny embellishments like gems, only paper - a bonus for metallic paper - and only scissors or straight cutter - no punches. And I get the bonus points because I used gold and red metallic foil board! I wonder what I can get with my bonus points?!?!? LOL!! I also embossed my leaves with Red Dragon Opaque Embossing powder which is very sparkly. I used Dew Drops as my only embellishment. The ink on the sentiment is Gold Pigment Ink. I colored in the leaves with a Spica gold pen. The sketch is from Amy Rysavy's blog that you can see here:

The leaf branch image is from a set called Autumn's Flowers by Artful INKables. Kristin is offering a free grab bag of stamps to everyone who orders $25 or more so be sure to check it out. This offer expires 10/12/08 so hurry on over!

AND save 10% on your order by using the code SAVE10JA listed in the Artful INKables box in the right column!

Stamps: Autumns Flowers - Artful INKables
Paper: Grafix Metalic Foil Board - red and gold, shimmery White: SU
Ink: Color Box Gold Pigment Ink
Accessories: dew drops, Spica gold pen, Red Dragon Opaque EP, hot gun, foam dimensionals

And now time to take a hike!!! ...... with these fun little back packs that is!!

Tomorrow I'm teaching a workshop at The Papertree in Manchester, NH and we're going to make both of these cuties!

I'll be posting instructions for these so watch for that...

and I'm also posting blog candy on Sunday so be sure to come back and check that out!

Got to go and pack everything up for my class - have a great weekend everyone!
