Inspired Friendship and a Baby ATC

Today's Inspiration Challenge from Stef over at Split Coast was a web site of Tote bags - I was inspired by this pretty one:
And here is the card I created.

This was the perfect opportunity to finally ink up my grid stamps from PapertreyInk. This set is so fun - it comes with a grid that you stamp first - and then several quilt like square designs you stamp in the squares.

Then I just added my ribbon - tied a separate knot and attached it with a glue dot, stamped my sentiment that I die cut and embossed with my nestability petite rectangle and added the pretty heart brad.

Stamps: Guide Lines & Quilters Sampler: PapertreyInk
Paper: White: PTI, Choc Chip: SU
Ink: Buckaroo Blue, Choc Chip; SU
Accessories: petite rectangle nestability, glue dots, foam dimensionals, brown ribbon, heart brad: Queen & Co

My second project to show you today is a little 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" Artist Trading Card (ATC) that I made for my monthly challenge with Helen (MissHelenStamps) over at Split Coast. It was my turn to decide the topic - and I chose Babies.

This cute little onsie is part of another fun set from PapertreyInk called Bitty Baby Blessings and the sentiment is from Favor It Baby. I was totally inspired by Alli Miles cards seen here: I got the cute little hangers on an Ebay store Star Lit Studio seen here.

First I dry embossed the frame using my Nestability rectangle die and Cuttlebug. I stamped the onsie onto the cute designer paper (Vroom, Vroom by Frances Meyer) and cut it out. I attached the little wire hanger to the card using glue dots and layered the onesie over it with foam dimentionals. Then I stamped the sentiment and tiny elephant - colored him in with Prismacolor markers and that's it!

You can see my other ATC's by clicking ATC on my "Look Here to Find" section in the column on the right.

I'm going to make some bigger cards using this same design - I just think they are so adorable don't you!?!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm off to take a hike in the woods with DH and then I have to weed my much neglected gardens!!

I've missed so many great cards while I've been gone. That baby card is adorable. I love the little patterned paper onesie on a hanger. SO CUTE! I haven't tried using the nestabilities to emboss a frame yet, but I love the look!

I have that grid set, but I haven't worked with it yet. You've inspired me once again! I don't think mine will be as beautiful as yours, but I'll give it a go. I just love the colors you worked with! Hugs, Jenn
