A Quick Horse

Happy Friday night everyone! Isn't it a great feeling to know the weekend is all ahead of you! I'm so psyched that I can sleep a little longer tomorrow morning - although I'm so used to getting up at 5:15 am each weekday - that I'm lucky if I sleep past 7 am and that seems late to me!! And then we go and lose an hour on Saturday night when we have to turn our clocks ahead - oh well!

Don't you just love this little pull toy horse by Stamps by Judith?! I saw it on a card on the cover of the March 2008 CardMaker Magazine and I knew I had to have it. It just looks so old fashioned and soft and cuddly to me! Some stamps just really speak to me KWIM??

Todays Limited Supplies Challenge at Split Coast was to make a quick mini card (no bigger than 4.25x4.25 which this is) using paper scraps and quick tools. I stamped the image on watercolor paper, colored it with Prismacolor watercolor pencils and then went over it with my water brush. Then I distressed the edges and layered it to a Sage Shadow panel which I then attached to the card with dimensionals. The DP's are by Stampin Up called Wintergreen and I cut a 4x4" square from each - then cut them in half diagonally - so now I have the DP ready to make a 2nd card!

The green on the horse matches the DP in real life - it looks a little bright in the picture.

Thanks so much for dropping by tonight! I'm sure we'll meet again over the weekend!
